Are You Ready to Retire the Bandage Dress?

All good things come to an end — and that includes fashion trends.
Way back when in 2007 when Lindsay Lohan called Paris Hilton her BFF, she hit the Maxim Hot 100 party in a sexy style of mini that few had ever seen before: the bandage dress.
Since then everyone has worn different variations of the sexy silhouette. There have been too many sightings to name, but some standout moments include Kim Kardashian in 2010 (second), Amanda Bynes in 2011 (third) and Jennifer Love Hewitt earlier this year (fourth). Most recently, Christina Aguilera wore the dress for a night out in Hollywood (fifth).

So what’s the problem, you ask? We’re so over it! It’s been five years since we first saw the bandage dress, and now it just feels tired. We get the appeal — it’s sexy and flattering — but c’mon ladies! There are so many other new trends to try! It’s fashion — let’s take some risks.
